With a European heritage dating back to 1974, the Scirocco is a sports coupe that encompasses style, performance, safety, comfort and practicality.
To be offered exclusively as the premium Scirocco R, this car features a mix of unique and sporty Scirocco elements, combined with typical R-model styling accents and of course performance.
The Scirocco R features the 2.0 litre TSI turbocharged engine producing a power output of 188kW and maximum torque of 330Nm available from 2,500rpm. All of this performance is delivered through a specially tuned sport chassis with adaptive chassis control, Extended Electronic Differential Lock (XDL) and 6 speed manual or optional 6 speed Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG).
An extensive equipment list befits such a special car and includes 19” Talladega alloy wheels, Bi-Xenon headlights, Bluetooth connectivity, dual zone climate control air conditioning, parking distance sensors and RCD510 audio system.

The Scirocco R will this week be available in the NADCON Configurator to enable you to place customer forward orders. An initial shipment of demonstrator vehicles is scheduled to arrive in dealerships in late December, with subsequent stock due to arrive during the first quarter of 2012.
